What's actually in the bottle

Two nutrients.
Four other things.

Most kids' vitamins hide a short ingredient list behind a long one. Here's every single thing in the bottle, in plain words.

L-Methylfolate

Folate in its already-active form, so the body doesn't have to convert it first.

Methylcobalamin

The methylated form of B12, included as a cofactor alongside the folate.

Organic Glycerin

A naturally sweet plant base. It's what carries the drops and makes them palatable.

Organic Berry

The flavour, from organic acacia gum, natural flavours and citric acid. Nothing synthetic.

Age-specific servings

One bottle that
grows with them.

Most kids' supplements make you buy a new bottle when your child ages out. This one just changes the number of drops.

Before you buy

Questions parents ask.

What's the difference between folate, folic acid and L-methylfolate?
Folate is vitamin B9. Folic acid is the synthetic version used in most supplements and fortified flour, and the body converts it through several steps before use. L-methylfolate, also written 5-MTHF, is the form folate takes at the end of that conversion. This bottle uses L-methylfolate.
What ages is it for?
One to eighteen, with three serving sizes on the label: 2 drops for ages 1–3, 4 drops for ages 4–13, and 6 drops for ages 14–18.
How long does one bottle last?
It depends on the dose. At the 1–3 year serving it's about 300 servings, at the 4–13 serving about 150, and at the 14–18 serving about 100. The bottle is 1 fl oz (30 mL).
What does it taste like?
Organic berry, sweetened only by the organic vegetable glycerin base. There's no added sugar and no artificial sweetener.
My child won't take anything. Can I hide it in a drink?
Yes. The drops go on or under the tongue, or you can stir them into water, juice or a smoothie. That's on the label as a normal way to take it, not a workaround.
Is it really organic?
Yes, it's USDA Organic certified, and it's manufactured in a GMP facility.
Does it contain sugar, dairy, gluten or soy?
None of them. It's also vegan, non-GMO, and free from artificial ingredients and preservatives.
My child has an MTHFR variant. Is this the right choice?
That's a question for your child's paediatrician or the clinician who ordered the testing. They can look at the full picture, including anything else your child takes, and tell you what form and amount makes sense. We can tell you what's in the bottle, but not what's right for your child.
Can my child take it alongside other supplements or medication?
Check with your paediatrician or pharmacist first. B vitamins can interact with some medications, and they'll know what else your child is taking.
